Burning Hearts and Opened Eyes

Have you ever had one of those moments where you didn’t realize how meaningful it was—until much later? Maybe it was a quick conversation, a quiet moment, or something that seemed small at the time… but looking back, you can see God was in it. That’s the kind of moment we’re stepping into today. Two followers of Jesus are walking along, hearts heavy with disappointment. They thought Jesus was the One—their hope, their future—but then the cross changed everything. Or so they thought. Then, a stranger joins them on the road. He listens. He speaks. And something starts to stir in their hearts. They don’t know it yet… but Jesus is right there.
