Little Man, Big Apology

Luke invites us to come to Jesus in faith and repentance. Theologians sometimes wonder which comes first: faith or repentance, repenting or believing, but Luke shows us that they both go together. Repentance means turning away from sin, but how can you truly repent without trusting that God will forgive you in Christ? And when you put your faith in Jesus, what are you trusting him to do, if not to save you from your sin?
