A Godly Legacy

Asa began well by fully relying on the Lord. His trust was rewarded with many years of peace & prosperity. But over time Asa grew complacent and then self-reliant. He began to ignore God. He began to trust in his own wisdom. This is what brought him into ruin.
His godly legacy started very well, but it eventually became one of failure. A godly legacy must rest upon a foundation of continual godly trust.
Yes, we’re all apt to stray from God, but we should surrender to the conviction of the Holy Spirit, repent, confess our failures, and then continue our walk with our God.
Each of us ought to consider the legacy that we’ll eventually leave behind. It should bless and encourage those who will remember us.
