Running On Empty

Sometimes, when we’re exhausted and running on empty, it can seem we’re approaching a final breaking point. The twelve apostles are here. They want to do what’s best for the multitude, but the apostles’ solution is to simply send them away. In this they fail to consult Christ first. This passage presents Christ as our perfect source of wisdom, strength, and guidance for when we’re running on empty.
