Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise

There are moments in the Christian life when truth does more than inform the mind—it ignites the heart. This passage is one of those moments. Before Paul ever lifts his voice in praise, he walks us through the depths of his past and the heights of God’s mercy. He remembers who he was, he remembers what Christ has done, and the weight of that grace erupts into worship. His words are not polished theology for the classroom—they are the spontaneous overflow of a soul overwhelmed by mercy. And as we step into this verse tonight, we are invited to feel what Paul felt: that when grace is truly seen, worship is the only fitting response.
