When something goes wrong, our first instinct is often to look for someone else to blame. But blame-shifting never fixes the problem—it usually damages our relationships and keeps us from seeing what God wants to change in us. In this lesson, “Blame Shifting,” we’ll look at biblical examples of people who blamed God, their circumstances, and others, and discover how honesty, personal responsibility, forgiveness, and choosing to “overcome evil with good” can strengthen our relationships with God and with one another.
