Call Unto Me

In the midst of trial and adversity, when hope seems distant and the weight of circumstances presses down upon us, God’s voice comes through with a promise of hope. Like Jeremiah, who was thrown into prison for delivering a message King Zedekiah didn’t want to hear, we sometimes find ourselves in moments of despair, asking, “What now?” But it is precisely in these moments that God declares: “Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” Tonight, as we reflect on this word, let it speak to our hearts that God is still in the business of doing great and mighty things, even in the most unexpected and difficult times.
