Recovering From Defeat

As we saw last week, there is no failure or mistake that cannot be remedied through the grace of God. Even Achor, the valley of trouble, can be turned into a door of hope. When we make a mistake and experience a defeat. what we choose next is entirely up to us. We can dwell in that defeat, give up, or allow one defeat to lead to the next. Or, by God's grace, we can learn from it and move forward. Although we should never seek to fail, failure can serve as a backdoor to success if we are willing to seek God's forgiveness and address our sins according to His guidance. We will look at five secrets for getting back on track after a defeat.
